Back in June I was lamenting about “where family dinners had gone”.  It really is hard to get everyone together. It always seems someone has another commitment.  Yesterday three of the kids, two spouses, one girlfriend and three grand kids and a grand dog were here for dinner.  I love having the dinning room table full and all the teasing and bantering that goes on when they are together. It is a joyful noise.  We really need to do this more often.  I only wish our daughter and grandson in California could be here. Nothing makes me happier than all the chicks in the nest.
